Noise App – Document Noise Disturbances

Capture what you hear in your own home: measure sound levels, log when an incident starts and ends, and turn that into a clear, structured report you can share with property management or a condo board—without a face-to-face confrontation.

Sound Meter in the Noise App

Real-time noise monitoring

See sound levels update while you record. The app tracks averages and captures peak levels so short spikes are visible alongside the overall pattern—not just a single summary number.

Incident recording

Start and stop a session when something disruptive happens. Each incident keeps a timestamp and duration so you can refer back to when events occurred and how long they lasted.

AI-generated reports

Send the measurements and context you choose to our service over a secure connection and receive a structured written summary you can review before sharing. Output is based on the data you recorded and optional notes you add.

History tracking

Keep past incidents in one place. Open earlier sessions to compare patterns, copy details, or attach them when you follow up with your building or landlord.

Exports you control

Generate files (such as PDFs) from your sessions when the app supports it, and share them only if and when you decide to—not automatically or in the background.

Who it is for

The Noise App is built for everyday residential settings—condos, apartments, and similar homes. It helps you keep a factual, time-stamped record of disturbances you experience, so you can explain the situation calmly to a manager or board. Many condo residents and tenants use it to organize information before a conversation or written request, rather than addressing neighbors directly.

Privacy & data

Your recordings and reports are stored securely on your device. When you use AI report generation, only the information you trigger for processing is sent to our servers over HTTPS, used to produce the report, and not used for advertising. Server-side inputs tied to that processing (such as audio or transcripts, when applicable) are generally retained for on the order of six months; generated reports may be kept longer for normal service operations. You can ask us to delete data we hold by submitting a request through our contact form. For full detail, see the Noise App Privacy Policy.
